Felix Verdejo. If you know. You know.

felix Verdejo

Standing 5ft 9″ tall, Felix Verdejo is a lightweight prospect hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is the current WBO Latino lightweight champion but this is obviously a stepping stone as Verdejo has big plans for the future. The heavy handed hitter has a style almost reminiscent of his namesake Felix ‘Tito’ Trinidad. Verdejo often keeps himself just out of range and then steps in looking to load up and land big shots. Don’t under estimate his durability or his willingness to trade punches to land his own.

I honestly expect big things from Verdejo in the future and as he is currently only 22 years old, he has ample time to win a world title. If Verdejo accomplishes this, he may even possibly move up to a higher weight class and allow himself to fill into his frame. One thing is for certain. Time is on his side.

Egidijus Kavaliauskas. If you know. You know.

The 27 year old Lithuanian is relatively unknown but under the tutelage of famed trainer Roberto Garcia, he can have a very promising professional career. Kavaliauskas has dynamite in his gloves and a sound understanding of boxing fundamentals. No doubt he will be challenging for a world title within the next couple of years. He won a bronze medal at Welterweight at the 2011 World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
